Dr. Laura Bartle earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2006.  She obtained her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. Before joining the emergency team at NVS, Dr. Bartle worked as a general practitioner as well as an emergency clinician in Tennessee and North Carolina.

Dr. Bartle grew up on a farm in North Carolina and inherited her love for animals from her mother and her ambition to be a doctor from her father.  She and her husband are currently starting their own family farm in Tennessee with their four children and are enjoying all the blessings and craziness of life.
